For over 5 generations, the Humphries family has been involved in the construction industry and recently Humphries Builders has been established by Charles Humphries.
Charles grew up working on domestic and commercial projects with his father’s construction company, CC & RH Humphries (Builders) Pty Ltd. On completion of his degree in construction, he worked as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator for the Trevor Main Group, a leading Quantity Surveying, Property and Construction Service Consultancy in Melbourne.
After 6 years at Trevor Main, Charles moved to site management and contract administration for a commercial construction company working on large retail shopping centres, industrial facilities, office and retail fitouts and airport facilities. Clients included Liberty Oil, Linfox Group and Avalon Airport.
In late 2012 Humphries Builders was formed and the first commercial project undertaken was a 1700 square metre showroom and workshop facility with a further 5,000 square metre external paved car display area for Kyneton Toyota. Soon after commencement Humphries Builders won contracts for a number of residential projects.
Humphries Builders understands that the construction process can be stressful and challenging for some clients and believe that planning and communication lead to better outcomes and smooth progression of construction works. We undertake to provide clients with detailed construction programs at the commencement of a project and minutes of all site meetings held regularly throughout construction.
